Daniel Clarke was born and grew up in Cape Town. He started painting for galleries soon after school but quickly moved into the commercial art industry, working on games and movies as a concept artist and production designer.
Throughout this period he focused on educating himself in the formal aspects of painting and image making.
He started painting traditionally again only in 2014, and had his first solo exhibition with 99 Loop in September 2015. Find out more about the exhibition here.
